Individual Courses

Program Overview

VRI offers standalone undergraduate-level courses in foundational science and mathematics designed for flexible, non-degree learning. These courses may be taken independently and do not require enrollment in a formal academic program.

Each course is academically rigorous, faculty-led, and structured to support learners who need specific coursework for professional development, academic preparation, or personal enrichment.

Courses may be used to strengthen subject mastery, prepare for advanced study, or supplement existing academic or professional pathways.

  • General Chemistry I & II

  • Organic Chemistry

  • Anatomy & Physiology

  • Microbiology

  • Astronomy

  • Mathematics (including calculus & statistics)

Curriculum Structure

  • Instructional Modules. Concept-driven lessons combining readings, lectures, and applied examples.

  • Assessments. Quizzes, problem sets, written assignments, or applied exercises aligned with course objectives.

  • Academic Engagement. Opportunities for discussion, reflection, and instructor feedback.

  • Final Evaluation. A cumulative assessment or applied project demonstrating subject comprehension.

Admission Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent

  • Academic transcripts from all institutions

  • Two short essays demonstrating critical thinking and motivation

  • Online admissions interview

  • Research capability assessment

  • Submit the VRI Standard Application Form

  • Upload transcripts and identification

  • Application reviewed by Admissions Committee

  • Decision communicated within 2–4 weeks
